With a segment area of ​​6 square meters, one segment of the Station-i is able to generate approx. 0.8 – 1KW of solar power (depending on the choice of solar cells). If several segments are combined, and the space or the location permits it solar energy of any size can be achieved. With 10 interconnected PV modules (= 5 segments) the approx. 5 KW total solar power equals the production of a facility on a family home. The operators of a Station-i system can generally assume that the system generates more power than consumed by the individual devices. The excess energy is stored or fed into the grid.
